The Bellingham Human Rights Film Festival begins this week, and will include films touching on immigration.
“Papers”, a film about the challenges of undocumented children under 18, will show at 7 PM, 2/23, at the Bellingham High School Library.
“Other Side of Immigration,” a look at Mexicans’ decisions to come to the U.S., will show at 7 P.M. at the Fairhaven College Auditorium at WWU on 2/24. That same showing will also include “Which Way Home,” a movie about immigrant children traveling alone on U.S. freight trains.
Immigration is just one of many issues the film festival will cover. All films are free to the public. For a full schedule, see WWU’s announcement. The festival runs from February 17th to February 26th.
